Threaded Stories: A Client-Designed Merch Project

We’re thrilled to announce our very first merch sale, featuring designs created by incredibly talented local artists!
Our merchandise features five unique designs created by Northreach clients as part of a community art initiative. Each piece reflects the creativity, skill, and lived experiences of local artists—many of whom are self-taught, working with limited resources, and part of the improperly housed population. Every purchase supports Northreach programs and provides snacks and water for those we serve. Thank you for recognizing the unseen talent in our community and giving back with us.

Here’s a peek at the collection:

Super Nova – by Cody Goodrich

A striking constellation sphere, originally inked in shimmering gold on drawing paper. Now reimagined in white on a deep black hoodie – bold, clean, and full of cosmic energy.
To honor the integrity of the original piece, we’ve preserved every detail and added Cody’s logo and name on the sleeve as a tribute to this special edition launch. We’re so grateful to Cody for lending his talent and vision to this collection. Your creativity helps us share something truly meaningful with our community.
Dreamcatcher – by Johnny Laboucan
What started as a hand-sketched pencil drawing has transformed into a meaningful piece of wearable art. Now printed in white on a deep navy long sleeve, it’s subtle, stunning, and signed by the artist himself. We’re so honored to feature Johnny’s work – thank you for sharing your creativity, your story, and a piece of yourself with us and the community.
We Look After Us – by Orren Anderson
Three raccoons stacked in a trench coat with the words: “We look after us – we keep each other safe.” This design is whimsical in appearance, but its message is deeply rooted in care, connection, and community. A reminder that looking out for one another is powerful and necessary. Orren is one of our incredible staff members who works directly with clients every day. He’s also one of the hearts behind this merch project – helping lead the way, connecting with artists, and bringing their visions to life. We’re so grateful for the care, creativity, and dedication Orren has poured into this project. His heart is in every thread.
Abstract – by Norm Johnson
Hand-drawn entirely with sharpie on a large canvas, this piece began at the center and moved outward – every line a reflection of process, patience, and presence. To honor the integrity of Norm’s work, the full design is printed just as it was created: centered, uncut, and untouched. We’re deeply grateful to Norm for sharing not just his art, but his perspective and journey with us.
Treaty 8 – by Client F.M.
A powerful fusion of symbols – dreamcatcher, teepee, and maple leaf -intricately drawn in fine pen and marker. This piece is a visual celebration of identity, history, and the strength of culture. Every detail carries meaning, honoring connection to land, tradition, and the stories that shape us. A statement of pride and resilience. We’re incredibly proud to showcase this piece by F.M., one of the talented clients who shared their art, story, and spirit with us through this collection.
